Sunday Morning Schedules

The Nursery/Toddler Room (newborn up to three years old) hours are Sundays 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
rograms are designed to provide our youngest church goers with a safe, loving environment and a positive introduction to church.  FPC takes great care to ensure that parents can worship comfortably, knowing their children are in caring, experienced hands.

The Nursery and Toddler Rooms are staffed by teams of adult sitters, many of whom have done this for years, watching the children grow from infants into their teens.

We have a sign-in and sign out policy.  We want to make sure that the person who has left their child in our loving care is the same person who is picking up the child after worship or after Sunday School/Adult Classes are over.

Please come and pick up your child as soon as the worship service has ended.  If you have any questions or concerns about the care givers here, please direct your inquiries to Ms.Peggy Huntington.  We hope your child will be happy and comfortable at First Presbyterian Church.

Morning Glory Worship in the Fellowship Hall; 9:00-9:45 a.m.
All children who are in worship are provided a bag of crayons and coloring sheets related to the Sunday School curriculum.  Youth attend worship.

Let it Shine Children's Worship; K- 5th graders (10:00-10:25 p.m.)

The Let is Shine Children’s Worship is a time for children to come together and learn how to worship God.  By participating in their own worship service children will deepen their understanding and love for God.  Even their specially made just for them pulpit shows that God’s love shines no matter how big or how small.
How it works:
In a “learn by doing” approach, children will take turns rotating through all the different elements of the worship service.  The children will be gently led through these roles.  This experience will give them “hands on” awareness and understanding of the different elements involved in our church services.  The children will then be able to carry on their experience by helping up in the Sanctuary or at Morning Glory when the youth participate in those services.  The content for the weekly Let it Shine Worship Service will tie in and directly reflect what Pastor Peggy is sharing with the congregation that week.
Music will be provided by Sue Peters.  If you have any questions please get in touch with Karen Haithcock.
